Microsoft Security Essentials
Microsoft has officially released their latest version of an anti-virus software. The Beta testing for the new program has gone on for quite some time, but the product is now officially and available to to the public. As promised WAY back when, MS Security Essentials is free, and will install on XP, Vista, or Windows 7. Your copy of Windows must be genuine in order to install the program.
Microsoft has put a lot of resources into providing one of the best anti-virus programs out there and the best news for those who hate paying is that it is free.
Download it and let us know what you think.
The download for Windows 7 was a little over 4.3MB and the program installed in less than a minute. After the install I told it to download the latest updates. The download and install process for the updates took longer than actually installing the program.
